We’ve designed this website to meet the Australian Government standard. It largely meets Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA.

The most recent audit was carried out by Oxide in May 2023.

The site is designed for access on desktops, tablets and mobile devices.
You should be able to:

  • change the size, font and colour of the text
  • zoom in up to 400% without the text spilling off the screen
  • navigate most of the website using just a keyboard on a desktop computer
  • listen to most of the website using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver).

You can print pages on our site using your browser’s print function.

The site uses plain language as guided by the Australian Government Style Manual

Any PDF viewing software should open PDF files on our website. We provide an alternative format for most documents.

Video, audio and text transcripts

You can download an accessible transcript document for all video content and text documents on the website. The link to download is near the main artefact view, close to the top of each artefact page.

All images on the site have alternative text.
